Responsabilities The Business Analyst SAP will act as both an internal consultant and an experienced application owner, bridging business needs with effective SAP solutions.
(S)he will translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems, leading end-to-end implementation, and managing the full lifecycle of SAP applications. Through this work, (s)he will optimize operational efficiency and contribute to achieving company’s strategic business objectives. Working within a team of experienced Business Analysts, (s)he will collaborate closely with different departments to enhance processes, streamline operations, and drive digital transformation within the organization. The key responsibilities and expected results include: Process Analysis & Solution Design
Collaborate with business departments to understand their needs and propose tailored SAP solutions.
Model business processes and document functional and technical specifications for SAP system integration with other applications.
Focus on improving process efficiency, staff productivity, and customer/patient services.
Solution Deployment
Participate in all phases of solution implementation, from development to validation, ensuring production readiness.
Ensure smooth and effective interfaces between SAP and third-party systems.
Application Ownership
Ensure the proper functioning, usability, and performance of SAP applications.
Propose specific enhancements and manage the full lifecycle of SAP applications to maintain operational efficiency.
Project Management
Lead SAP system implementation and upgrade projects following company methodologies.
Ensure project delivery within scope, budget, and deadlines.
Continuous Knowledge Update & Support
Stay up to date with SAP and IT industry trends to ensure service continuity.
Provide specialized third-line support during critical incidents or crises.
Experience & qualifications The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities and skills:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
Strong expertise in SAP across one or more modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, Retail).
Experience in an SAP Retail environment (SAP S/4 HANA Retail, SAP CAR, SAP Fiori) is a plus.
Familiarity with SAP integration challenges (Idocs, API, oData).
Solid understanding of business processes in Retail and/or the pharmaceutical sector.
Experience with process modeling (BPMN).
Proven skills in business analysis techniques and workshop facilitation.
Proficiency in collaborative and productiviy tools (JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence, etc.).
Strong technical and functional documentation skills.
Previous experience in end-to-end software implementation projects, either as an expert or project manager.
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Excellent communication skills in French and/or Dutch, with a good understanding of the second language, with the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders at all levels, through written documents, presentations and verbal communication
