Our client is seeking an organized, efficient IT operational manager to join their growing organization. This role will be reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, and will be responsible for the overall planning, organization, and execution of all information technology within the organization. You will direct the IT Staff (2 FTEs, 1 in HQ & 1 in a Liasion Office in Asia), to carry our the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions. 
 
IT Manager Duties and Responsabilites : 
  • Analyze business needs presented by users and recommend technical solutions with completion timeline.
  • Maintain the organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering and supporting strategic plans
  • Direct research in emerging technology by studying organization goals, strategies practicies and user projects
  • Produce detailed timelines and implement effective project control for each software release
  • Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented. 
  • Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures, information security and control strcutures. 
  • Recommend informaion technology strategies, policies and procedures by evaluationg organization outcomes, identifying problems and anticipating organizational requirements 
  • Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparinng an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variance and initiating corrective action, 
  • Install hardware and peripheral components
  • Administer email and anti-virus systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues relative to all corporate solftware in a timely manner
  • Participate in all hardware and software evaluations and maintains vendor contracts
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards

The successful candidate will have improved skills, a proven professional experience and adetailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred;
  • 10+ years’ experience in Information Systems in area of managed specialty (infrastructure, applications, operations, development) Experience in the most current technologies;
  • ITIL Certified;
  • Working knowledge of ITIL Framework;
  • Advanced Computer Infrastructure Technologies;
  • Advanced application of business process knowledge: Functional Application expertise;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex programs/projects;
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully develop, coach, mentor and manage performance of others;
  • Effective time management and organizational skills;
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment;
  • Demonstrates both technical and supervisory leadership;
  • Capable of developing a short- and long-range plans for areas of responsibility;
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies;
  • Ability to perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment;
  • Displays empathy, understanding and patience with employees and external customers;
  • Respond professionally in situations with difficult employee/vendor/customer issues or inquiries;
