Product Manager

Location: Bruxelles, Belgique, Belgium
Our customer is a Belgian company building an incredible software and industrial success story. Full details will be shared during a personal interview with the selected candidates. This role is for an employee only. 
Take the lead for new product development including artificial intelligence and further build the success of an amazing software story. 
  • Ideal candidates must be innovative, creative, flexible and be passionate about building quality software.
  • You have a University Degree in Computer Sciences, in Engineering or similar relevant field
  • You have a first experience in a large corporation related to technologies and/or IT
  • Knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • You are familiar with the challenges of the software world 
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • You are fluent in English and ideally Dutch and/or French

  • Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities for existing and future software portfolio
  • Providing vision and direction to the development team and stakeholders and create requirements
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product.
  • Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Take lead of product/development teams as the Product Owner
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and initiatives to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to create and maintain a product portfolio according to business value
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Research and analyze market, the customers and users, and the roadmap for the products
  • Participate in the development of story acceptance criteria including drafting them when feasible.
  • Be a subject matter expert on the product and domain.
  • Cross-communicate between the developemnt team and project management and the business.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving proficiency
  • The ability to collect and prioritize requirements
  • Experience in conducting cost/benefit analysis
  • Project Management and Business Analysis certification or similar
  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with customers, development team, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders.
