VIVAQUA Program Manager

PROGRAM MANAGER
 
CONTEXT: AfinIT has received the exclusive mandate to hire a Program Manager for Vivaqua.

Vivaqua is seeking a Program Manager to manage the implementation of its new Customer Information System.
Vivaqua is facing major challenges in managing its customer interactions (life cycle, complaints, payments, ...) in a 25+ year old legacy home-made system. Vivaqua has decided to capitalize on its SAP platform and to implement its new Customer Information System into SAP ISU.
 
This program will also serve as a vehicle for
  • Reviewing, simplifying and modernizing business processes
  • Implementing key building stones for its future, such as reporting infrastructure, integration platform, ...

    The goal is to ensure that the program delivers the desirable outcome to our organization.
    Beyond this program, Vivaqua is redefining its strategy, which will lead to new programs to be launched in 18 to 24 months.
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to organize and coordinate the program.
 
The Program Manager will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that improve, on one hand, Vivaqua’s customer services and on the other hand, leadership in deploying the solution and the associated Change Management.
The program manager will question status quo and drive innovation through the program and related initiatives.
The role requires familiarity and experience managing SAP-ISU or other ERP system implementations, as well as direct experience working with business processes and IT applications.
 
The Program Manager will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. S/he will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics.
The Program Manager’s scope includes Business processes, functional configuration/customization, SAP-ISU installation and infrastructure setup.
S/he will report to the program sponsor – Chief Finance and Customer Officer.
 
RESPONSIBILITY
 
  • End-to-end implementation of the new CIS from business and IT angles
  • Process review and adaptation
  • Drive the RfP process(es) to choose the necessary partner(s)
  • Liaise directly with executives regarding strategy whilst ensuring timeliness and quality
  • Assemble and lead the teams and provide project guidance on both functional and technical levels
  • Develop program plans, schedules, and resource strategies to drive projects to closure.
  • Facilitate good communication and offer multiple levels of status across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management.
  • Provide regular updates to management team to ensure appropriate exposure of issues and challenges.
  • Drive day to day program activities to meet overall program objectives.
  • Apply change, risk and resource management
    Participate to the improvement of the customer’s experience
EXPERIENCE
 
The following experience is considered as a must have: 
  • 15+ years working experience
  • 5+ years
  • as Project Manager
  • as Program Manager
  • Experience performing quantitative and qualitative analysis of key program metrics, financials, and performance reports related to process upgrade, software delivery, system resiliency, monitoring, and high availability
  • Direct experience managing enterprise programs in terms of scope, schedule, budget and risk
  • Leading large, cross-functional teams
  • Vendor management in major programs
  • Legacy migration to commercial package
  • Change Management
  • Business Process Mapping and translating customer business requirements into workable business solutions
  • Partner Selection (RfI / RfP)

Fluent in French and Dutch, with a good knowledge of English – Fluency in French and Dutch will be demonstrated by a
Selor certificate (Selor - article 8), which could possibly be obtained at the time of hiring

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • Master Degree or equivalent by experience
  • Program/Project Management Certification preferred
  • Change Management Certification is a plus
